Default Emanuel Sandhu!?

Again? Seriously? Fine if they want to show him, but don't lie to him (and to the audience) and say that he's improved. He's just as brutal as he was last year, and I don't believe for a second that ego has gone anywhere.

There is nothing impressive about his dancing. It is awkward and weak and without co-ordination. I can't believe they put him straight through to the Toronto round again when he so clearly should have been embarrassed about what little they did show of him last year.

I am baffled as to why the producers think it's a good idea to show him at all, let alone keep him around. If you think the audience wants to see him, you are WRONG. He makes the entire program look like a joke.

I didn't actually watch last night, but apparently hearing this put me into such a rage that I had to post about it. It's completely ridiculous.

Default Say No To Emanuel Sandhu !!!!!

I was disappointed that they started off the season the way they did . I was a figure skater and can tell you that what Emanual is doing is NOT dancing. Throwing in a Grande Allegro doesn't cut it.

He is figure skating on a dance stage without skates. Doing a triple axel skating move is NOT dancing, nor is it ballet. His approach to his *tricks* are what skaters do to warm up before going out on the ice in the dressing room. Or what kids do in fromt of the mirror. If he was a better skater, he'd still be skating competitively or as a professional on tour.

That said, he was arrogant in the skate world, he is an arrogant (wannabe) dancer. His attitude cannot change as that is who he is. Give him negative feedback & he'll complain to the camera guaranteed!!! I will continue to watch until we get to the Top 20. If he makes the Top 20, I will not watch until he is kicked off.

Please don't get me wrong, there are plenty of skaters who can dance and dancers who can skate. Emanual is neither!

I have loved that there is a dance show on tv that shows true talent. C'mon SYTYCD Canada.....don't let us down!

Well I for one enjoyed his audition. And that's what it is an audition. I think you have to go pretty darn far to try to nitpick the Skating from the Dancing, because he wasn't on ice. He was doing movement on dry land to music. That in a nutshell is dance.

I enjoyed see him and everyone else - and how you can post about him when you didn't see the show kind of baffles me. Anyhow, this member of the audience enjoyed watching everyone, including Sandhu.

I was happy to see Emanuel auditioning again this year and thought it was a great way to start the audition section of the show.

I didn't think his audition was brilliant, however, he is certainly a very talented man......a world class figure skater who trained at the National Ballet.....most dancers auditioning for this show, would never make it into the National Ballet.

There are many 'dancers' out there who have trained for years and years but are just not gifted in the ways of movement, rhythm, timing, or performance. He may very well be one of those examples. There are some things that cannot be taught or learned. It seems another thing he is having trouble learning is when to call it quits and find something he is actually good at. It angers me that no one is brave enough to stand up to him and tell him that he is wasting his time. Of course it's fine if he wants to dance as a hobby because he enjoys it, but I don't think that's why he's doing it.

And Katencats, I watched his audition on youtube. I didn't post before checking to see if he'd actually improved enough to warrant wasting another 5 minutes of airtime on him. Unfortunately I think he may have even gotten worse - I didn't think it was possible.

Smile I liked him

I though he was great. He has changed and his attitude has improved. He is very graceful. Only time will tell

Default Seriously people???

Ugh.....it is so disheartening. We're all entitled to our opinions and what's great for some is not so great for others. Still...just say no !!!!
