Hi between me my mom and friend and brother we got in about 2000 votes. The first 45min we got through lots then after it was hard but kept on trying. I was scared at first because we usually don't get through that much at the beginning but the lines are probally more open now as there is only three competitors left. Yeh !!!!!!!!!!! Melissa.

Sorry View, I totally lost track of my vote count!!! I can tell you I killed two cell phones sometime during those crazy two hours and had to use the land line only for the last 15 minutes.

For the first 15 minutes after the show I couldn't get through more than 6 times. Then they opened up for about the next 40 minutes for me on both the cell and land line. At 10:50 PM the lines were plugged and I got through about once every 15 calls.

Dialed right up until 12:00 though and BELIEVE but can't confirm about 350+ votes. Except for a quick trip to the Ladies Room I didn't stop dialing for a minute so I am happy with my performance.

I was also REALLY HAPPY about Melissa's performance tonight. She makes me proud to be a fan!!!!!

Wow, you are all amazing!!

I had nothing but busy signals for the first 75 minutes. Finally I started getting through and managed about 150 votes in the last 45 minutes.

My friend came over at 9 and stayed until 11. That's my voting hours.. I was only able to get away from her a couple times to vote.. I think I only got in like 15. And I was soo looking forward to voting lots tonight.

I got in 427. The lines were mostly free between about 10:05 and 10:50. After that it was hard to get through.

I hope people didn't get too complacent thinking she was safe....

hahaha yea, my friend almost caught me a couple times voting.. I didn't wanna tell her what I was doing because she was already laughing at me enough for just watching Canadian Idol (she called right on Melissa's second performance so I missed part of it.. I told her I'd call her back). When I was voting she came up behind me and she was like "Who ya callin this late??"

Tonight was the weirdest vote night I've had in a while... and, perhaps... some people gave up watching the show, or voting altogether this week.

I was talking to a few, and that Elvis week really made a lot of people just plain disappointed.

The boards everywhere were real quiet the past few days, too. I think all this may have factored in, to leave more open lines, and so the diehard fans got through this time.

Mine was kinda bad too... two separate people come at different times...

Here they knock, so I have to open the door...
Then, they saw the bed...

"Why is your bed in the middle of the room?"
I was in a hurry, so I said,
"I'm running a vote campaign!"

So, they look at my room, with everything I need in the middle of it, and I could tell, they were thinking...
*HUH??? This is a campaign central office??*

So, when they saw the 3 phones... the look on their faces was priceless...
I shooed them out, telling them I've got to work...
Man, I gotta go out there, too, tomorrow... we all live in the same building!!!

And, no, they don't understand why we vote...
I gave up trying to explain that last year.

Oh well, at least we have each other for company... and the other Monkeys, too.

Actually, the 427 votes came in two hours of voting. About 300 were from those 45 minutes when the lines were free. After that I got in only one in ten or fifteen attempts

Yesterday, the lines were busy for the full two hours. I got in about 5 votes before 9 am ... none for the first hour ... and ended up with a measly 109 votes.

In the earlier rounds, I was able to get through 400-500 times, so this is quite a difference.

It's good to know that there are other Melissa fans voting, though.
