Here is a picture taken by miamorekalan of Kalan before he enters the venue. The guy beside him is his Manager, Jim Campbell. Kalan looks so good, healthy and happy and his hair is to die for.

My wish came true. I was hoping someone would be there, and I did think of miamorekalan because of what she bravely did during the radio event with Brian Malouf. Good for her!

And THANK YOU, kmi, for this gift! It's a great picture. And our question about Kalan's manager ...... well, it's answered! They say "A picture tells a thousand words." It's true here!

Don't be too quick to read anything into one picture. There are many thousands of words happening behind the scenes.

I agree. For all we know, Jim Campbell could have been the one primarily responsible for having the Kalan and Brian Malouf arrangement since this is what the function of the artist manager is supposed to entail.

Well, we don't know all, but from a little bit that is known, Jim Campbell had no part in arranging Kalan's recording with Brian Malouf. Jim has had very little involvement with Kalan for quite some time. However, Kalan is likely still under contract with 19Evil for a while longer so Jim is still getting a chunk of his hide. Did you see the huge smile on Jim's face in the picture? His cash cow is back at work.

Have you noticed the number of hits daily on Kalan's Myspace? It looks like it averages to about 2,000 a day or more. Kalan has started the "buzz"!!!

I have noticed. Amazing, isn't it? In less than a month he's had over 50,000 hits. Definitely a buzz happening! Can you imagine the excitement and the number of hits when he finally posts a song on the site????

What a sweetie he is. His abundant humour was evident even while he gave such a touching and emotional tribute to his mom. He has gained so much maturity and self confidence since Canadian Idol. Remember how at the beginning Ben had to literally drag him out into the spotlight? Even though he still is a humble, sweet, shy guy, he handles moments like this with such grace and dignity. And he didn't look too bad either!!
