Hi their, am posting from Australia, I dont know if you remember the winner of the first idol down under but he is going from strength to strength lately, he is going to memphis to record an album of soul classics,and he is also co wrote the theme song for a massive event next year World Youth Day, it is being sung by Guy for the first time July 1st its called Receive The Power, and was chosen from many songs that were submitted and will be broadcast to over a billion people next year and the pope will also be present when he sings it :-) more info on Guy we are so proud of him can be found at his site

I know there are a few people on these boards who actually adore Australian Idol and watch it.

I loved Season 4 so much. I also love Kate DeAraugo, The Young Divas, Shannon Noll and Guy.

Nice. I hope his WYD song is better than the the theme song of the last World Youth Day in Germany. That was just not a good song.

While I love Paulini in Young Divas Idol For All Shannon was amazing and deserved to be in the finale. Shannon's music is phenomenal and he's just so amazing. He's definitely one of my favourite Idol contestants ever.

Any love for Mutto or Ricky Muscat? I loved them last season, as well as Lisa Mitchell.

I liked Ricky and I supported Joseph in the beginning cause he's my hometown boy. Lisa was ok when she was singing country but she kinda lost her footing in the other genres.

I thinki Guy's stance as the first winner has set the level very high.
